Weather Situation
A cold front will move across Victoria on Friday. A large high pressure system
will move over Bight waters on Saturday to extend a ridge into southeastern
Australia, then slowly track eastwards towards Victoria on Sunday. A weak cold
front will brush the Victorian coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday
Becoming cloudy. Scattered showers from midday, possibly falling as snow on the
higher peaks. Winds northwesterly averaging 20 to 30 km/h tending west to
southwesterly up to 20 km/h during the afternoon. Temperatures between 3 and 8
during the day.

Mount Hotham Shower or two developing. Max 4

UV Alert from 10:50 am to 1:20 pm, UV Index predicted to reach 3 [Moderate]

Forecast for Saturday
Morning cloud. Winds south to southwesterly averaging 10 to 20 km/h becoming
light later in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 0 with
daytime temperatures reaching around 9.

Morning cloud. Patchy morning fog. Light winds. Overnight temperatures falling
to around minus 2 with daytime temperatures reaching around 10.

Forecast for Monday
Partly cloudy. Patchy fog early in the morning. Isolated showers from the late
morning. Light winds tending southerly up to 20 km/h during the afternoon.

temperatures reaching around 9.
