Weather Situation
A large high pressure system is located over the Bight and extends a ridge
through northern Victoria. The high is very slow moving and will be located in
the general Bight area for several days. Meanwhile, weak cold fronts will brush
the Victorian coast during Monday and again late on Wednesday.
Forecast for Sunday until midnight
Winds: Southwesterly 5 to 10 knots.
Forecast for Monday
Winds: West to northwesterly about 10 knots tending west to southwesterly 10 to
15 knots around midday then tending south to southwesterly during the afternoon
then becoming southwesterly up to 10 knots by early evening.
Forecast for Tuesday
Winds: Light winds.
Forecast for Wednesday
Winds: West to southwesterly 5 to 10 knots.
Forecast for Thursday
Winds: Westerly 10 to 15 knots tending west to southwesterly 10 to 20 knots
during the afternoon.
